Xenon Gas Filled Lamps are manufactured to attain higher filament temperatures. Xenon gas is the best performing fill gas and provides the maximum candle power per watt. Current draws are from .20 to 3.0 amperes. The lamp wall is quite hot and runs up to 300 C. it emits up to three times as much usable light as a standard flashlight lamp and permits maximum focusing. That means it will probe three to four times farther into darkness, or will fill a dark room with unequaled, almost flashbulb - intensity light. It cuts through fog and smoke to find and illuminate people and objects obscured to a standard lamp. It has a lifetime up to four times as long and it delivers all this performance without significantly reducing battery life.
